The Biden Administration is making strides in creating policies and strategies to assist Afghans that have been employed by the United States Government. Prior to the implementation of these new approaches and programs, the administration instituted “Operation Allies Welcome”, now being referred to as “Enduring Welcome”, which helped to relocate Afghans to this nation after their evacuation from Afghanistan. These refugees that have evacuated from Afghanistan after the United States withdrew its military from the country have struggled to settle down in communities and are still in the process of finding permanent homes.
Fortunately, the Biden Administration is supporting these individuals by primarily devoting its attention to unifying families, special immigrant visa applicants, along with the refugee admission program. In addition, our country has raised millions in aid to Afghanistan to help those struggling and suffering from the country’s current insecure state. Biden and his administration are dedicated to securing funding for aid to assist Afghans in Afghanistan and those fleeing to the United States.
