U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is implementing a new phase of processing expansion for petitioners who have a pending Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers, specifically under the EB-1 and EB-2 classifications. However, this phase only applies to specific previously filed Form I-140 petitions under E21 classification as individuals with advanced degrees in a distinct profession or ability to seek a national interest waiver. Beginning September 1st, 2022, Form I-907 requests (for petitioners who want to request a premium processing upgrade) will be accepted for these petitions received on or before February 1st, 2022. In addition, this expansion applies to petitions under an E13 multinational executive and manager classification. Form I-907 requests will be accepted for E13 petitions received on or before January 1st, 2022. If a premium processing request is submitted after the dates listed above, it will be rejected. Overall, these processing expansion policies will help immigrants by increasing efficiency in the immigration system.
