USCIS Announces Employment Authorization Procedure For Palestinians

USCIS has established procedures for Palestinians covered by Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) to apply for Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) valid through August 13, 2025. This follows President Biden’s directive to defer the removal of certain Palestinians present in the U.S. as of February 14, 2024. Eligible individuals can apply for EADs by filing Form I-765. Special Student Relief for Palestinian F-1 nonimmigrant students is also available.
