USCIS has transferred processing of all Forms I-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition, filed for following-to-join refugees (FTJ-R) from the Asylum Vetting Center to the USCIS International Operations Division. This shift aims to enhance efficiency in processing FTJ-R petitions by establishing a dedicated team. Pending Form I-730 FTJ-R petitions filed before this date will be automatically moved to USCIS International Operations, and affected petitioners will receive transfer notices by mail. Please ensure your mailing address is up to date as indicated in your transfer notice. The filing location for Form I-730 remains unchanged at the USCIS Texas Service Center.
